What is the Resilience Matched Savings Program?

  • It’s a program that helps you build some emergency savings. You’ll save $500 in an account; we match every dollar you save with $5 – that’s $2500 extra savings!


  • In Resilience Matched Savings you’ll get free financial classes through NeighborWorks Umpqua. You’ll also get free financial coaching to help you stay on track.

Save up to $1800 in Dream$avers and have your savings matched 5:1 –that’s up to $9000 extra savings!

Am I Eligible for Resilience Matched Savings?

To be in the Resilience Savings Program:


  • You must live in Coos, Curry, Douglas, or Josephine County. 


  • Your total household income must fit the guidelines provided.


If I’ve been in Resilience Matched Savings before, can I apply again?

If you've completed Resilience Savings or Dream$avers Program in the past and spent any match dollars, you can't apply to either program again.

How do I apply?
  • We use a lottery to choose who can apply for the Resilience Matched Savings Program. Enter using our lottery form below if you think you're eligible. Your entry is active until December 31st of the year you apply in.


  • The lottery is held in October of each year. If your name is chosen, you’ll receive an email notice with instructions for applying to Resilience Matched Savings. 


  • After each lottery draw in October, anyone not chosen will receive an email reminding them to apply for the next lottery date.


  • You only need to submit your name to the lottery once each year. In January, anyone still on the lottery list will be reminded to re-enter for the new year.
